Discover our story
Simon and Alison Routh first planted 150 vines by hand in 2008. They now have 2,500 vines over 1 hectare from which they produce up to 4,000 bottles of quality sparkling wine a year. Made on site in an old stone barn by the traditional method, Wellhayes Sparkling Wine is a unique blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Reichensteiner.
Visits to the vineyard, including a visit to the winery, wine tasting and an optional cream tea, are available by appointment on Sundays and Wednesdays at 3pm from May to September.
