Discover our story
Our story
Torview Wines is a small family vineyard and winery. We’re pretty unusual in that we only make red wine, from varieties like Pinot Noir, Dornfelder and Rondo.
We’re proud to say we’ve an ugly-looking vineyard. We encourage weeds to grow under the vines, to soak up excess rainfall and nutrients. This reduces the vigour in our vines, meaning we don’t need to trim our vines as much, or use weedkiller, or need to spray our vines as much. It also increases biodiversity in the vineyard.
Our range of wines include light summer reds (which work very well chilled), to heavier smoother award winning wines.
