Discover our story

Our story

Saunton Vineyard is a boutique vineyard in North Devon, situated between the beautiful hamlets of Lobb and Saunton. The vineyard is planted on south-west facing slopes with uninterrupted views over Braunton Burrows and the North Devon coast, a stone’s throw from the beaches of Saunton Sands, Croyde and Putsborough.

Established in 2019, we have planted non-traditional red and white grape varieties to produce still, sparkling and pet nat styles of English wine. Working with nature, the aim is to keep the vineyard as wild and low intervention as possible. All of the wine is produced on-site, which means we can produce small, craft batches of wine and play around with individual styles to suit the conditions and harvest.

We will be open between May-October for coffee & cakes, tours and events. Please check out our website for up-to-date information.
