Our story
Established in 2019, Quoit-at-Cross Vineyard is home to 2,200 vines nestled amongst the upland hills of the mid-Devon countryside. We aim to deliver the highest quality wines and are due to launch our first signature sparkling made from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes in 2024, along with a still Bacchus, and a Rondo/Pinot Noir rosé.
Our historic site in the charming village of Stoodleigh has been farmed by the Hill family for almost a hundred years, and our family-run Vineyard, just 3 acres in size, aims to continue this tradition through diversification. Due to our south east orientation, altitude and unique setting, we enjoy panoramic vistas across the Devon landscape, overlooking the Exe valley all the way to the Sidmouth Gap. We are accessible just 20 minutes from the M5, with the bustling market town of Tiverton visible from the vines. From simple beginnings, we soon hope to welcome you to tours, tastings and a range of creative events and workshops. Keep an eye out for updates and a website coming coon.
