Our story

We are incredibly proud of our West Country heritage here at Lyme Bay Winery, but that doesn’t stop us working with a group of top growers across the country, rather than managing our own vineyards, to provide us with the highest quality grapes for our award-winning wines. We are the only English Winery to achieve an A* accreditation for manufacturing quality from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) ensuring that all our products are crafted to the highest standards.

Over the years our bold approach to producing category-defining drinks has paid off. Since we opened our doors nearly 30 years ago we have seen the success and reputation of our products soar, winning awards from prestigious competitions including the International Wine and Spirit Competition, the International Wine Challenge, the Decanter World Wine Awards as well as Taste of the West and Food Drink Devon Awards closer to home.
