Discover our story
Boutique English wine, grown and made in the Teign Valley, Devon. Huxbear Vineyard was planted by Ben and Lucy Hulland in 2007 on 14 acres of south facing slopes in the Teign Valley, Devon. A further planting was undertaken in 2013 bringing the total planted area to just over 15 acres.
The 16,500 vines planted are made up of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir predominantly with smaller plantings of Pinot Meunier, Bacchus, Schonberger and Siegerrebe, from which a mixture of still and sparkling wines are produced.
Striving for Sustainability Huxbear Vineyard is fully off-grid and all power is produced on site, mostly from renewables. Minimum intervention vine growing and wine making practises are employed and wherever possible we always look to use integrated pest management. All our wines are vegan.
Huxbear is open by appointment for tours, tastings and purchases.
